Allo and Happy New Year!
I'll cut to the chase - I have put together a challenge - kind of like biggest loser. Instead of focusing on pounds lost we are focusing on percentage lost. This evens the playing field and gets everyone moving towards a healthy lifestyle etc. The incentive you ask? Well what is the biggest motivator?! Money! 20 bucks get you in. You get 5 dollars back if you make it past the first 21 days. You get another 5 back for making it to the end of the challenge. The other half of your investment goes to the winner (so you get all of your investment back if you loose the greatest percentage!). There is a blog, a private facebook page and lots of other treats and motivational awesomeness along the 16 week challenge. If you want to know more just message me back. I am a person who does well if there is some element of competition and a carrot so to speak! Challenge starts January 17th!!!
will i see YOU at the finish line?

So here are pictures from spaghetti and from lunches this week:
( Spaghetti! )
( Sammich! )
Been subsisting on leftovers since the weekend in order to try to empty the fridge out a bit. Will post pics and recipe next time I cook though.
In other news, managed to hit the gym at 7:30a yesterday and make it to TKD as well last night. Tonight is TKD, but no gym.

( Brunch! )
( Supper! )
I am going to do my best to start taking pictures of food as I plate it up. For some reason, making pretty food makes this weight loss adventure more fun.
I'm kind of excited and also kind of scared to start the workout regimen. I know in the long run I'll feel a lot better for it, but in the short term I predict pain, some embarrassment, lots of exercise-induced asthma, and chagrin at my body's inability to do what my mind wants it to do.

Hello everyone,
As with everyone else in the world, I'm back in the weight-loss mode. I'm currently competing with a friend to hit our goals by July 1, 2010. This gives us 26 weeks to kick our asses into shape. On the line is $250 bucks, so this should be an interesting challenge.
My weapons of choice this time are Weight Watchers for tracking, the city gym that I used to use when I got into decent shape last time, and taekwondo, both Laurier and Guelph Olympic. Sadly no time for jujitsu again, as I really want to get good marks in school and not give up taekwondo.
Don't be too surprised if all you read about in here is food and exercise... it's been a while since I've tracked that kind of thing, so I'm trying to force myself back into good habits.
